Reason For Issuing version 02: Clarifying Stopover processing logic

Agency Private Fares (APF) is a web based product providing travel agents and consolidators the means to maintain their contracts of private, negotiated fares. After the contracts have been loaded into APF, the fares are available to integrate with public fares and airline filed private fares for fare display, quote and Shopping. Contracts are maintained using the APF application located at https://www.agencyprivatefares.galileo.com/login.do

This release contains several enhancements to APF ensuring the product remains competitive and keeps up to date with the market requirements. This product update includes:

  • Minimum and/or Maximum Stay requirements for Stopovers
    This enhancement provides the ability to enter the minimum/maximum stay requirements that define a stopover.
  • Stopover Outbound and Inbound restrictions.
    This enhancement provides the ability to specify the stopovers only apply to Outbound travel, Inbound or both. It also provides the ability to define stopovers at specific location that are only applicable to Outbound, Inbound, both or Either.
  • Use the Discount Rules from the Airline Rule.
    This enhancement provides the ability on a calculated contract to use the discount rules (Child, Infant or Other) from the base fare.
  • Additional Mark-up/Mark-down capabilities
    This enhancement provides additional capabilities for Mark-ups and Mark downs on the Calculated fares screen, set selling level and Discounts.
  • Accompanied travel requirements.
    This enhancement provides the ability to define the accompanied travel requirements for Discount Passenger types.
  • Append the original booking date to an Endorsement Box message.
    This enhancement provides the ability to indicate that the first endorsement box message will contain the original booking date of a PNR/Booking File.
  • Variable Tour Codes
    This enhancement provides the ability to generate a tour code based upon the fare quoted.
  • Apply the most restrictive discount when combining Calculated contracts
    This enhancement provides the ability to indicate that when combining fares with this indicator, that the lowest discount must be applied to all fare components.
  • Segments must be confirmed
    This enhancement provides the ability to indicate that all segments or at least the first segment must be confirmed to qualify for the fare.
  • Round the World contracts
    This enhancement provides the ability to enter an MPM on the fare entry screen. It also provides additional drop down options for min/max/adv res tktg and stopover locations on the Stopover screen.
  • Changes to the Combinations Screen
    Changes are being made to the Combinations screen to allow for easier input of rule ids that are combinable outside of a contract.
