Galileo - Retain last PNR/BF in Queue after IR and QXI is entered

Overview PA 1302 - version 01

Galileo subscribers require the ability to add or change data in the PNR or Booking File while it is in queue. If, for some reason, the customer does not complete the changes in the PNR, it is required to ignore the PNR and leave it in the queue.

Currently, the Galileo system removes the last PNR from the queue when information has been added or changed, the IR modifier is used and entered, and either the QXI modifier, the I modifier or the QXIR modifier is used.

With this enhancement, when the user adds or deletes information in the PNR/booking file, performs an IR, and then the QXI modifier, the I modifier or the QXIR modifier is used, then the PNR or booking file will remain in queue. The Galileo system will allow the user to retain the PNR/BF in queue after IR, and then the QXI or I or QXIR modifiers will be used.

This functionality exists in the Apollo and Worldspan systems.
