Worldspan - Single Pricing: Confirmed load dates! Country Restriction

11.11.2011

Overview PA 1303 - version 02

Issue History: Version 01 – Issued 10-Oct-11
Reason For Issuing version 02: Confirmed load dates

Country Restriction in Rules Category 15 allows an airline supplier to restrict sale of a fare to country of origin, country of destination, or both. For fares in private tariffs, this restriction is applied to fare display as well as sale. Worldspan currently displays these fares regardless of the location of the requesting customer. Worldspan pricing does validate the sales restriction, so these fares will not price in locations other than the country of fare origin and/or destination (as filed in the rule).

All other security information in Category 15 will continue to be validated.

Fares in public tariffs will continue to display regardless of country restriction and user location, as, per industry standard, this fare display restriction does not apply to public fares.

Customer Benefit

Customers will no longer see private fares that are not valid for sale in their location due to country of fare origin and/or destination restrictions.
