2012 Industry Mandates - Geographic Specification Table Processing

Overview PA 1488 - version 01

When a Flight Application restriction is based on travel between the last point out of one location and the first point into another location, the current ATPCO Data Application for Category 4 – Flight Application is not clear as to when one location is a subset of another for example, between the state of Florida and the United States. An industry standard has been agreed for flight applications which display, last point out – first point in. Travelport 360 Fares, Travelport e-Pricing and Worldspan FareSource, are now enhanced to accommodate this new standard.

Customer Benefit

Customers will benefit from consistent fare processing as a result of this new standard ATPCO definition of “last point out – first point in” in automated rules data.
