Origin & Destination and Point of Sale policy of KLM

We work with a combination of O&D (Origin and Destination) and Point of sale (city and countrycode).
CRS'ses have different techniques to approach the availability, but only one technique to approach Sell, the Sell function decides if the seats can be sold or not.
The Sell function does so, based on the O&D/POS information given by whomever is trying to book the seats.
This means that it can happen that if a PNR is active on a screen a flight will show not available.
Although when you request an availability without an active PNR the flight shows available. (O&D controlled)
Sell is the deciding factor and should be accepted as such. - KLM message - 01aug07
