Worldspan: Cancel SSRs When Flight is Cancelled in Worldspan

16.02.2010

Overview (PA 858)
Currently, when a Worldspan (1P) agency performs a cancel or a cancel/rebooks of a flight, the SSR associated to the ‘original’ flight remains in the PNR. This forces the agency to cancel the old SSR and to enter a new one. If the agency does not notice the flight/class/date/city pair of the new flight segment does not match what is in the “original” SSR, the airline will either not work the SSR or reject the SSR after end transaction.   Customer Benefit
This will remove SSRs from PNRs with flight segments no longer booked, and will ensure new SSRs are sent to the airline when the flight has been cancel/rebooked.   Click here for more details and load date.
