Overview (PA 1016)

Effective 01 November 2010, industry mandate will require the Mexican Peso (MXN) to be rounded up to the nearest whole unit for fares and taxes. Accordingly, amounts on electronic tickets issued in Mexican pesos will be without decimal places and all support documentation and messages will show MXN amounts without decimal places.

Customer Benefit

  • Increases the upper limit for MXN amounts from MXN99999.99 to MXN99999999 (approximately USD7800.00 to USD7825000.00)
  • Travelport continues to be compliant with industry requirements
